In Belfast ex political prisoners from both communities will guide us through the areas they grew up in and were intimately involved in the troubles and spent time in jail for their beliefs. We invite you to hear first-hand accounts of this turbulent period of modern history, explore up close, on foot the world-famous murals of the Falls and Shankill Roads and understand the stories behind them. This is a 3 hour walking tour along both sides the Peace Walls of West Belfast, crossing through the gates that are closed nightly at the request of both communities.  Hear the Stories behind the artwork and and how the troubles effected the guides own families...More
