CLIFFS OF MOHER 2 hour visit
Departing from Dublin your day tour to the Cliffs of Moher will travel through the counties of Kildare and The Vale of Tipperary. We will pass by Bunratty Castle and through Lahinch, famous worldwide for both surfing and golfing.
Arriving at the Cliffs of Moher you will be struck by their sheer enormity. The cliffs are over 200m high at the highest point and run for 8 kilometres along the western seaboard of County Clare.
Admission to the interpretive centre at the cliffs is included in the price, an exciting interpretive centre and a new visitor experience situated in a large domed cave, here you can see photographs, exhibits, displays and experiences that will add a layer of enchantment to your visit.
WILD ATLANTIC WAY AND THE BURREN
Departing from the Cliffs of Moher, we continue our amazing scenic journey along The Wild Atlantic Way, the edge of Europe. Our journey continues into the Burren National Park where you can see 60% of Ireland’s native flora on one of the only Glacial Karst regions in Europe. (photo stop 20 minutes) Travelling around the scenic coastal route of Galway Bay, you will be treated to stunning ocean views, looking out towards the Aran Islands and points of interest such as Blackhead Lighthouse, Dunguaire Castle and Kinvara fishing village.
GALWAY CITY 2 hour visit
Described by the writer W.B Yeats as “The Venice of the West”. Galway, the city of the tribes, is Ireland’s cultural capital. This free-spirited, artistic and bohemian city has an ambience all of its own. A 30 minute guided walking tour is included in the tour but are free to explore the cobble stoned pedestrian streets, drop in for a pint and listen to some Trad music in one of Galway's many pubs or perhaps you are inclined to discover the hidden gems of Galway’s speciality shops, boutiques and cafes. Returning to Dublin Approx 8.15pm
